D.O.S. Profile system
The original.
D.O.S. Profile system means: Anchoring without screws! Profiles are fastened without visible drill holes and screw heads and are securely anchored into the floor. The core of the system is the nylon lamella anchor that is specifically adapted for the aluminium profile. When pressed in the drill hole, the multi-disks cling to the drill hole area and provide for a long-lasting fixation. Additionally, the elasticity of the bolt causes an optimal, continuous adjustment of the profile to the height and inclination of all imaginable types of flooring. The D.O.S. is also ideal for the subsequent closing of expansion joints, because it is installed without a base profile. All D.O.S. Profiles can be used for floor thicknesses of up to 17.5 mm and up to 23.5 mm, respectively. This means: Simple profile selection for the customers, reduced stocks for the merchandiser

Installation
Quick method for perfect installation:
| (1) Drilling 6 mm holesRemove old floor covering at the drill hole. Drill 0 6 mm (leave an expansion joint!). The hole distances are arbitrary. Position the two outer bores as far out as possible. Remove drilling dust and check drill hole depth (= anchor length + 1 cm). |
| (2) Insert anchorsPush the anchors into the locating slot. Use all the anchors supplied. |
| (3) Align anchorsAlign anchors over the drill holes. |
| (4) FixingForce anchors evenly into the drill holes to avoid damage to the section. Use a piece of wood when hammering. |
| (5) DismantlingIt is easy to dismantle a D.O.S. section. Carefully slide a spatula along under the section until you come up to an anchor head. The anchor can be separated with a well-aimed hammer blow. The section is undamaged and can be re-used with new anchors. |
