PS 400 Stair nosing no. 420, 30 x 25 mm
> Aluminium.
> For covering thicknesses 7-15 mm.
> Inclusive fixing material.

Resilience safety, optimal traction, and handling comfort are premium advantages with the PS 400 Stair nosing system for parquet and laminate. Just as with the PS 400 Screw profile system, Prinz also uses the advantages of self-cutting screws on stair nosings. Its reliable 360° contact with the surrounding area is a guarantee for the highest possible resilience and long-life cycle.
These are additionally supported through the construction of the base profile. Because the bracket on the step tread pulls backwards and is ideally prepared for fast handling. Even with maximum loads, the profiles will neither break nor ripped out thanks to the anchoring of the step tread.

Ideal for stairblocks.
PS 400 Stair nosings were made for steps with stairblocks. For profiled stairs, the Prinz D.O.S. Stair renovation system is ideal.
(1) Level worn-down treadsLevel worn-down or damaged treads with repair spatula.
(2) Fitting of riserCut the covering for the riser to size and lay it on. We recommend gluing of the riser. Then put on the base section together with the upper section (The channel in the base section takes up the guide web of the upper section.)
(3) Screw the base sectionPress the vertical leg of the upper section against the riser in order to find the exact position of the base section on the tread. The leg of the section must firmly lie against the riser. Drill Ø 5 mm holes through the screw holes of the base section. Put dowels through the holes of the base section into the drill holes. Screw down the section. In case of wooden stairs the screw can be screwed directly (without dowel).
(4) Fitting of treadRemove the upper section. Glue a 2 mm insulating underlay onto the step for compensating the material thickness of the base section and for sound proofing. Cut the covering for the tread to size and also glue it with the step.
(5) Fixing of upper sectionPut on the upper section once again. Select the drilling screws. Three screws of different lengths have been included. The correct screw length can be easily determined by putting the screw into the drill hole. The length is correct if it protrudes by 4–8 mm. Use an accumulator screw driver with PH-1 bit for fixing the upper section. Adjust an average torque. Under low pressure the drilling screws drive a thread into the screw base of the base section.
(6) Slightly beat on upper section / retighten screwsSlightly beat on the upper section with measured hammer blows until the upper section is in its position. Attention: You must place a wooden support underneath in order to avoid any damage. Then retighten the drilling screws. Dismounting:The screws can be removed at any time without any problem and be screwed into the thread again. For removing the upper section, slightly beat the vertical leg of the section by means of a wooden support. |
