No disappearing space, but rather design with conscience and enhance the room optically. When optimal functionality supplements aesthetics, a perfect symbiosis is created. Aluminium baseboards are not only elegant, they are also practical. Because, they offer the option of leading multiple cables along the wall in a concealed manner. This is especially true for clip baseboard 350: Here, Prinz adapted their PROFI-TEC Clip system and optimized it precisely for the demands for the wall. A floor covering width of 22 mm also covers wide expansion joints. Upper and base profiles are constructed so that they can be released from one another easily so that during time, more cables can also be covered quickly.

Product information:

Perfect combination.

PROFI-TEC baseboards are perfect for combining with PS 400 Cable ducts for the concealed laying of cables in parquet and laminate flooring.

Quick method for perfect installation:

(1) Mark drill holes

6 clips are included per baseboard.
Follow a laying interval of about 40 cm.
Mark drill holes.

(2) Drill holes

Drill holes with 5 mm Ø.

(3) Attach plastic clip

Screw plastic clip to the wall. The vertical slots allow for subsequent height correction. After screwing, the lower part of the clip is located on the flooring. Ideal for expansion joint widths of 22 mm.

(4) Lay cable

Lay cables in the clips.

(5) Fasten upper profile

Clip and link upper profile.

Installation of outer corners:

(1) Adjust baseboard clips

All inner corners enclose 4 bolts; push in both holes for the baseboard clips – each with 2 bolts. Position both of the clips with bolts so close to the edge so that the bolts just touch. Screw in the clips.

(2) Fit the upper profile

Push the outer corner over the bolts of the adjusted clip. Then measure the length of the upper profile while considering the overlapping of the outer corners. Cut the upper profile to the determined length.

(3) Attaching the outer corners

Push the upper profile up against the edge, clip and link the upper profile.Push the outer corner over the bolts.

Installation of inner corners:

(1) Adjust baseboard clips

All inner corners enclose 4 bolts; push in both holes for the baseboard clips – each with 2 bolts. Position both of the clips with bolts so close to the edge so that the bolts just touch. Screw in the clips.

(2) Attaching the inner corners

Clip and link the upper profile.
Push the inner corner over the bolts.

> Important: Mount the outer corners first.

Installation of end caps:

(1) Adjust baseboard clips

Two bolts per end piece are enclosed. Push both of the bolts into the holes of the baseboard clips. Position the bolts for the clips so close to the end that the bolts have about a 5 mm distance from the door frame. Screw in the clip.

(2) Catch the upper profile

Clip and link upper profile.

(3) Attaching end piece

Push the end piece over the bolts.

Installation of profile ties:

(1) Adjust baseboard clips

Two bolts are enclosed per connection piece. Push both of the bolts into the holes of the baseboard clips. Position the clips with the bolts so close to the next clip that they come in contact.

(2) Attaching the profile ties

Clip and tightly latch upper profile.
Push the profile tie over the bolts.
