(1) Position the profile

Remove the old flooring before drilling. Position the trimmed profile onto the selected location and mark the dowel positions of the profile. The two outer holes should be positioned as close as possible to the edge. Especially with loop carpet: Please ensure that no loop winds around the drill. If necessary, punch out the carpet site beforehand.

(2) Drill and fix

Use a 5 mm drill to drill the holes for the dowels previously marked on the ground. Vacuum the holes so that no dirt remains in the holes or under the profile. Insert the dowel and tighten the screws with a suitable screwdriver.

(3) Auto-adhesive profiles

After cutting the profile, the protective tape is removed from the adhesive side. Then the profile is placed in the correct position and pressed. Moving or repositioning is no longer possible after contact of the adhesive with the substrate. Important note: On hard floor coverings, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the surface of the flooring at the splice. Do not use film-forming cleaners and use a primer if necessary for better adhesion.
